Fashion in Guelph

25 Mar

We love the style in Guelph. Sometimes it can be hard not to stare at a stranger downtown as you admire their ensemble. We are inspired by cool hair-dos, brightly coloured lips and unexpected outfits.

For our photoshoot we wanted to express Guelphs’ style so Malkim had a brainstorm session.

We said words like bohemian, edgy, ecclectic, vintage and unique.

We thought of our favourite hot spots downtown and how they would influence our fashion choices. It inspired us to create our own Guelphite Fashionistas.

Street Look in Guelph

We chose Trina as our model at the Red Brick Cafe on Douglas St. We wanted to convey a fun, street look that also had a classic element. Just like the cafe.

Modern Pinup Girl in Guelph

Next we had Hayley as our model at Meow, the vintage clothing store on Carden St. This look was inspired by a 1950’s pinup girl, but with a modern twist.

Urban Style in Guelph

For NV Lounge on Wyndym St, Nadia was our third model. It was the musicians at open mic nights that inspired her sultry, urban style.

Earth Child in Guelph

To finish we captured Emma’s look at the Guelph Farmers Market on Gordon St. She was our earth child, natural and organic. It doesn’t get more Guelph than that!
